It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Andre "Dre" Demond Goolsby. Mr. Andre "Dre" Demond Goolsby left this earthly world to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, January 08, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother; Shana (Jimmy) Pope, two children; Rhyann A. "Bird" Goolsby, Rhyleigh M. "Mae-Mae" Goolsby, siblings; Timothy (Christina) Goolsby Jr., Simeon (Olinka) Goolsby, Tevion Pope, Shayna Goolsby, and Tianndra (Justin) Jordan, grandparents; Alice Jean Walker, Jimmy (Lois) Pope, and as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 am, at McIver's Funeral Home Chapel, Douglas, Georgia. Eulogist will be Rev. L.H. Mobley. Interment to follow at Broxton City Cemetery, Broxton, Georgia.
