Mrs. Bertha Lee Hunt (Simpson) was born in Vienna, Georgia on May 25th, 1939 to the parentage of Katie Mae Towns and Solomon Hunt.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, John Henry Simpson three daughters, Julie Mae Simpson, Nancy Simpson and Julia Simpson; a son, Willie Lee Simpson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Two daughters, Bertha (Jeffrey) Jenkins and Rose Simpson of Douglas, Georgia; two sons, Henry (Elaine Simpson and Michael Simpson of Douglas, Georgia; One sister Lucy Mae (Joe) Black of Vienna, Georgia; Grandchildren, Nicole, Cory, Orlando, Dejuan, Vaneesha, Sharell,Regina and Myesha; Greatgrandchildren, Keri. TJ, Mia, Deojhne, Terrell, and Jaquas all of Douglas, Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at McIver's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery, Douglas, Georgia.
