We celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Threat Woodard, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her late husband Mr. Earnest Woodard Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Barbara A. Woodard, Gwen Woodard, and Earnest Woodard Jr., four grand children: Nicole Ballard, Naim Ballard, Kiarah Woodard, and Amber Mitchell. She is also remembered by her sibling the late Deacon James Henry Threat Jr., and surviving siblings: Inez Laidler, Fran Phipps, and Joann Jones, sister in laws: Sister Hazel Threat, and Jerry Woodard, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Broxton, Ga at 1:00pm. Eulogist will be Pastor Melvin Harper, with interment to follow in the Broxton City Cemetery.
