Christine Powell Williams was born on January 3, 1954 in Coffee County to the late Harris Powell and Mary H. Clark Powell. Preceded her in death: Brothers: Harry, Willie Lee, Timothy Powell and sister Stella Lane.
She attended the Public Schools in Coffee County. She spent most of her adult life in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before returning back home to Douglas. She worked in the poultry industry for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son Reginald (Cindi) Powell of Denver, Co. Grandchildren, Reginald Jr. and Unikah Powell of Douglas, Ga. Sisters: Claretha (Issac) Newsome of Valdosta, Ga, Annie Ree and Joyce Powell of Douglas, Ga, Mary Ann (Anthony) Henderson and Linda Perkins of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Brother: George Powell of Fitzgerald, Ga. Special great nieces: Shon and Shynesia. A very special friend Willie P Francis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. , Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Church of the Kingdom of God , 505 Shirley Ave in Douglas, Georgia. Burial will follow in the City of Broxton Cemetery, Broxton, Georgia
