Danette Johnson was born April 29,1958 in Douglas Coffee County, Georgia at Coffee Regional Medical Center to Mary Virginia Dover and Robert L. Johnson Jr.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. She departed this life February 12, 2016 at McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae, Georgia.

She was educated at Nicholls Elementary School in Nicholls, Georgia ending at George Washington Carver in Douglas, Georgia. She was employed at Douglas Foods and Douglas, Georgia. She was a member of Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Dannette was preceded in death by her mother, Mary V. Dover; father, Robert L. Johnson Jr.; son, Tristan Johnson; grandparents, Mattie Hairtone, Robert L. Johnson, Edna Moore and Robert Dover.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two sisters: Lee Doris (James) Wells of Nicholls, GA and Shadeen Riles of Florida. Five brothers: Robert E. Johnson of Augusta GA; Wilbert Johnson and Wayne Johnson both of Nicholls, GA; Terry Johnson of Atlanta, GA; and Brinson Riles of Sykesville, PA; Two uncles: Leon (Mabel) Dover of Meridian, MS and Robert (Marion) Parker of Nicholls, GA; One aunt, Helen Heard of Meridian, MS: a special friend James Pratt. Four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three special nephews; two special nieces and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held, Friday, February 19th, 2016 -12:00 noon - Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church , Nicholls, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Nicholls City Cemetery.
