Mr. Demetrius Latrell Jackson, age 21, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born on December 24, 2004, in Douglas, Georgia.

Demetrius attended Georgia Cyber Academy. He loved playing basketball, enjoyed gaming systems, rapping, helping others, making people laugh, and spending quality time with his family and loved ones. His joyful spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Demetrius was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Mr. Dennis Jackson, and his beloved grandmother, Mrs. Cherry Ann Wilcox.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his father, Mr. Terez Jackson (Mrs. Dominique Edwards Jackson) of Douglas, Georgia; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ann Burns of Douglas, Georgia; his siblings, Mr. Keith Jackson (daughter, Kapri), Miss Tanya Jackson (son, Kamere) of Douglas, Georgia; Miss Imani Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; Miss Zye Youna Ash of Douglas, Georgia; a very special grandmother, Mrs. Renell Jackson of Douglas, Georgia; four great uncles, Mr. Robert Holliman of Douglas, Georgia, Mr. Anthony Holliman of Orlando, Florida, Mr. Johnnie Jackson, and Mr. John Willis Jackson, both of Douglas, Georgia; two great aunts, Mrs. Daisy Riley Johnson and Mrs. Shelia Jackson, both of Douglas, Georgia; three uncles, Mr. Mark Wilcox, Mr. Handsome Johnson, and Mr. Marcus Burns, all of Douglas, Georgia; two aunts, Mrs. Shantivia Johnson and Mrs. Felicia McMillion, both of Douglas, Georgia; one stepbrother, Mr. Ke’ven Andrews; one stepsister, Miss J’mya Marshall; a loving girlfriend, Miss Shéquore Jordan; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
