Eddie D. Curry was born on December 2, 1946 in Broxton, Georgia to the late Hattie R. Curry and Amos Curry.
He attended Carver High School. He worked many years as a Concrete Finisher.
He was later joined in Holy Matrimony to Edna Bennett Curry, who preceded him in death. Eddie was a good man, he loved spending time with his family, taking pictures and he also had a big smile.
Eddie was preceded in death by his loving siblings: One brother, Kellian McMillian; Two sisters: Sylvia Johnson and Ruthie Mae Burch.
He leaves to cherish his memories two loving children: daughter, Yolanda Nicole Stanley and son Eddie Lamar Dunlap. Three grandchildren: Kierra Gray, Seinna Singleton and Antonia Dunlap; One great-grandson, Xavier Gray. Two sisters: Earlouise Davis and Rose Williams both of Douglas, GA; Four brothers: Sandy Curry of California; David (Willie Mae) Curry, Walter (Delvina) Curry and George (Yolanda) Curry all of Douglas, GA; Devoted niece Pauline Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
