Deacon Eddie Porter Jr., the son of the late Eddie Porter Sr. and Daisy Kornegay Porter was born October 18, 1927. He was joined in holy matrimony to the late Missionary Johnnie Mae Porter. He passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at his home in Broxton, Georgia. Funeral services will be held, 1 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2016 at New Hope Covenant Christian Fellowship Church 111 North Alabama Street, Broxton, Georgia. Burial will follow at Broxton City Cemetery.
