On April 28, 1941, Fannie Mae Paulk was born to Eastman Paulk, Sr. and Susannah Green Paulk in Coffee County, Georgia. In 1959, Fannie Mae graduated from Carver High School in Douglas, Georgia. She resided in New Jersey for a while then returned to Georgia to live.
Seldom has death occasioned such real genuine sorrow and regret among all classes as that of Ms. Fannie Mae Paulk, who passed to her reward May 9, 2016. Her soul winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow and pain, to a place of eternal rest.
Fannie Mae was preceded in death by seven brothers: Willis, James, Matthew, Grady, Jeff, J.C. and Ralph.
She is survived by: Eastman (Jessie) Paulk, Jr. of Ambrose, GA; Mary Thomas Elizabeth, of New Jersey, Ottis Paulk of Douglas, GA; Gus (Carolyn) Paulk of Phoenix City, AL; and Ronald Paulk of Ambrose, GA; Sister-in-law, Margie Paulk of Daytona Beach, FL and Geneva Paulk of Douglas, GA ; Dear family friend, Lois Hicks of Ambrose, GA; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
