Frank Lee Butler, 60, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on April 23, 2015 at Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Visitation/Wake will be 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday May 1, 2015 at McIver’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday May 2, 2015 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Willie C. Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Broxton City Cemetery. Arrangements are by McIver’s Funeral Home.

Frank was born in Douglas, Georgia to the late Joe Butler, Sr. and the late Lovie Lee Roundtree Butler on October 14, 1954. He went to school at Broxton High School and graduated in the Class of 1973, Broxton, Georgia. He married Lucy Idella Hamilton Butler on September 26, 1976. He was employed by, Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan (1973 - until late 70's); factory worker at Fleetwood in Broxton, GA (1980's) and Tecumsch in Douglas, GA (1990's); sole proprietor -Frank's Appliances (2003 - until his demise) He enjoyed fixing appliances and working with his hands: loved spending quality time with all of his grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by Parents: Joe Butler, Sr. and Lovie Lee Roundtree Butler: Sisters: Vivian Carter, Daisy Swinson, Lucreature Butler, and Johnnie Mae Butler: Former Wife: Lucy Hamilton Butler.

He is survived by Children: Corey Riley of Douglas, Georgia, LaToya Curtis (Ricardo) of Douglas, Georgia Michael Bennett of Detroit, Michigan, Stephania Graham (James) of Jacksonville, Georgia, Frank Jr. Butler (Marie) of Sugarland, Texas, Lee Butler (Paula) of Palatka, Florida
Siblings: Earnestine Burch of Miami, Florida, Lula B. Powell (Robert) of Tifton, Georgia, Joe Butler, Jr. of Broxton, Georgia, Joann Andrews of Connecticut, Earnest Butler (Willa) of Detroit, Michigan, Sadie M. Butler of Broxton, Georgia, Annie Lee Brantley (Alvin) of Broxton, Georgia, and James Butler of Broxton, Georgia.
