Frank Richardson Jr was born in Jasper, Florida on November 19, 1954, to Frank Richardson Sr. and Daisy Mae Richardson. Frank attended school in Jasper, Florida before moving to Pearson, Georgia. Frank worked for The City of Pearson for twenty-five years and due to illness he had to retire.

Frank was well known and respected throughout his career for his dedication and his service. Frank was the father of Frank Richardson III (Rose Linton) of Pearson, GA; Melanie L. Williams of Dallas, TX; Latisha Richardson of Tifton, GA; Jennifer Richardson Ash (Stacy Ash) of Pearson, GA, and Jeremy Richardson of California.

Frank always had a caring spirit and remained upbeat in spite of everything that may have been ailing him at the time. He was a fighter that never gave up regardless of the situation before him. He always put God first in everything he did. On February 9, 2016 he transitioned to a heavenly home. His loss will be felt by all who had the honor of being touched by him in life.

Sorrowfully he will be missed by his brothers and sisters: Hayward (Anyona) Slappy of Homerville, GA; Kevin (Dela) Slappy of Homerville, GA; Frankie Mae (Rick) Johnson of Orlando, FL; Willie Frank (Denise) Richardson of Orlando, FL; and Christina (Jesse) Gaskins of New Jersey. In addition, Frank leaves a host of family and sorrowing friends.
