Mr. Cleo N. Kennedy Sr. was born August 31, 1935 to the late De'Andra Kennedy and the late Queen Maddox Simmons in the small town of Predigest Ville, South Carolina. Where he attended the local schools. He later joined the United State Military. Cleon was employed Fairway Bakery in Orlando, Florida, Fab Tech in Douglas, Georgia for twenty-five years, later retiring to serve as bailiff at the Atkinson County Sheriff Department. He was preceded in death by his sons: James Kennedy, Frankie Kennedy, and Robert Kennedy and his brother, Andrew Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at his residence in Axson, Georgia. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife Mrs. Ola Mae Kennedy of Axson, GA; One daughter, Ella (Tyrone) Hardy of Homerville, GA; Three sons: Leo (Greta) Kennedy of Douglas, GA; Cleo Jr. (Shirley) Kennedy of Axson, GA; and Joshua Jackson of Orlando, FL; Two brothers: Willie (Carolyn) Simmons of Orlando, FL; and Charles James of Valdosta, GA; Sisters-in-law: Emma (Willie) Gager and Lenora Dumas all of Pearson, GA; Brother-in-law, Nollie Burch of Axson, GA; He leaves a great host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and special friends.

Mr. Fred Reed, Jr. passed away Friday, August 16, 2019. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24th at Young's Chapel MBC, Douglas, GA. Burial will follow at the Vickers Cemetery, Hwy 158 in Ambrose, GA.
