Janie Tillman Wilkes was born in April 22, 1947 in Pearson, Georgia to George Tillman and Maggie Pierce-Tillman. Janie passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia. She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Blow of Macon, Georgia; her brothers and sisters; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilkes will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Hightower Memorial Temple, Douglas, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Pearson, Georgia.
