Brother Jarvis Coley entered this life on June 13, 1978 Atlanta, Georgia to the late Daisy Coley and the late Willie Stiggers.
Jarvis moved to Douglas, Georgia at a very young age and entered the Coffee County School System. Jarvis graduated from Coffee High School in 1998, where he received a standing ovation because he defied the odds by completing high school after he was shot and paralyzed when he was only sixteen years old. The doctors told the family he would not live through the night, but our family formed a circle and prayed for God to intervene. God saw fit for Jarvis to remain with us an additional twenty-one years after this tragic incident. We THANK God for allowing us to have the time we did with Jarvis. Upon recovering from his ill fate, in 1999, Jarvis went on to attend Warm Springs Roosevelt Rehabilitation Center to heighten his opportunity for success. While at Warm Springs, he enrolled and completed a Computer Technology course. Jarvis has truly been an inspiration to his entire family.
