Christian Experience: Jessie Jr. was a lifelong member of New St. Stephens A.M.E. Church of Okeechobee, Florida.

Demise: Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Hospice of Okeechobee, Florida.

Jessie Jr. was born in Broxton, Georgia. Jessie joined the service and served very proudly in the United States Marine Corp. While serving in the Marine Corp, Jessie traveled the world but enjoyed being stationed in Japan most and received a Purple Heart while serving his country. Jessie was also a high ranking member of the Masonic Lodge Group. After serving in the Marine Corp, Jessie returned to Okeechobee, Florida and began his career as a truck driver.

Jessie Passed away battling a brief illness with his lovely fiancé at his side, joining both of his parents, Jessie Sr. and Julia Grace, his late wife, Mary Alice Grace, brother, John Henry Grace, Sr., and brother-in-law Matha Stewart.

Jessie is survived by: Fiancé, Rebecca Lewis, Two sons: Jessie Grace III and Ty’Juan Lewis; One step-daughter, Catrina Edison; Two sisters: Willie Mae Stewart and Mary Jane (Milton) Moffett; One brother, Jack (Debra) Grace; Aunts: Delma Littleton, Molly Smith, Anna Mae Freeman, Peggy Moore, Mattie Ethel Love, and Loretta Welch; Uncles: Willie Welch, Jaime Grace, Robert Grace, Arthur Grace, James Grace and Leroy Grace; Grandchildren: Alissa Eskinde, Tyneisha Edison, Tyrese Edison, and Tyshawn Edison; a host of nieces and nephews; and two very special friends: Ossie Fleming and Marie Oliver, thank you both for all your help and kindness.
