Sister Josephine McRae was called home peacefully on March 15, 2019. She was surrounded by her beloved husband, family, friends and caregivers.

Her life began on March 30, 1961 in Broxton, GA. She was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ella Mae and Joe Littleton. Josephine was a graduate of Broxton High School of Broxton, GA with the class of 1979. She was joined in holy matrimony to the love of life, Larry McRae, for 38 years. She was employed with the United States Department of Agriculture as a Consumer Safety Inspector. Josephine was a faithful and dedicated member at the Emmanuel Deliverance Center of Douglas, GA under the leadership of Pastor Nancy Brewton.

She is preceded in death by her brother Phillip Littleton. She loves to mourn her passing: Her loving and devoted husband Larry McRae, one daughter, Princess McRae. Brothers: Charles (Gloria) Ellis, David (Gwen) Littleton, Don (E.J) Littleton. Sisters: Everlena Morgan, Leila (M.J.) Curtis, Mary (Tommy) Dobson, Aline (Herbert) Graham, Charlene (George)Murray. Aunts: Doris Williams, Thurman (Edna) Crockett, Willie Crockett, Louvenia Walker and Molly Randolph. Brother in laws: Oscar (Lula) McRae, Sam (Phyllis) Hutto, Robert McRae. Sister in laws: Dorothy (Isaiah) Glass, Rose Hutto, Valena (Alvin) Butler, Cynthia Hutto, Marlo (James) Odums and Vivian Hutto. Her God-Children: Eric Ward, Shemarla Williams, Erica Riley, Quanisha Brewton and Kizzy Moore.
