On Thursday night , February 11, 2016 God looked down in Douglas, Georgia and decided to end the long suffering on one of His precious Angels. Lewis Charles Weldon Sr. was called home to eternal rest. He was the son of the late Mary Watson Hall and Lewis Weldon. He was born in Pitts Georgia on November 1, 1940.

February 1. 1959, he was united in holy matrimony to Charmon Howard Weldon who preceded him in death on March 5, 1994. He was employed by Fab Tec. Inc. for twelve years and later employed by Coffee Regional Medical Center where he later retired due to illness.

He leaves to cherish memories to his devoted and loving children:
Willie Anthony(Cassandra) Howard of Auburn, Alabama, Carol(Jimmy)Grady of Douglas, Georgia, Lewis Charles(Wanda) Weldon of Orlando, Florida , Minister Cynthia (Mark) Webb of Valdosta, Georgia and Jennifer (Elder JC )Boler of Douglas.
grandchildren - Wanda Brown, Contrena Grady, Regeana Davis, Amanda Weldon, Kimberly Weldon, Ashley Howard, Shnelle Williams, Markus (Shannon)Webb, Jerel (Tamara)Williams, Tyon(Tameshia)Weldon, Keenan Webb, Lewis Weldon lll, Leodis Weldon, Shaquille Weldon. nineteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and one god daughter, Candice Sims

He had one brother, Willie James Williams, who preceded him in death.
Four Sister-in- laws: Ocie Paige and Clarice(Vicky) Swanson of Douglas, Ga ; Wynema Hutchinson Auburn, Ala. and Charlene Canady of Alexander City, Alabama and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Lewis C. Weldon passed away on February 11, 2016 in Douglas, Georgia. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Sears Street Church of God by Faith Douglas, Georgia.
