Mary Alice Elizabeth Burch Floyd was born on April 5, 1940 to the late Nollie Burch Sr. and Gracie Lee Wilson Burch. She departed her earthly body to be with the Lord on September 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by one sister the late Clara Mae Burch Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a loving and devoted husband Gene Floyd of Pearson, Ga. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family at all times. To this union six children were born, Jessie M. Burch, Claude L. Moore (Minnie), Geneva Tillman (Donald), Rosa L. Floyd (Thomas), Wanda J. Floyd (Samuel) all of Pearson, Ga. And Danny B. Floyd (Diane) of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Mae Kennedy (Cleo Sr.) of Axson, Ga; Mrs. Emma Burch (Willie Jr.); Mrs. Lenora Dumas of Pearson, Ga; three brothers Arnie Lee Burch Sr (Willie Lee-Deceased), Nollie Burch Jr. (Margaret) of Pearson, Ga, and Clarence Burch Sr.; seven sisters-in-law, Gladys Roberts, Dorothy Roberts, Lorene Day, JoAnn Floyd of Pearson, Ga., Betty Askew (Brian) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Rosa Robinson (Hayward) of Valdosta, Ga., and Alvinia Campbell, Douglas, Ga; A six brothers-in-law, Eddie Powell Jr., Billy Floyd, and Tommy Floyd of Pearson, Ga, James Floyd Sr., of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, the late Albert Jeffery Jr. and Melvin Jeffery; 18 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
