It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Nicholas Wingfield Jr., husband of Mrs. Bertha Wingfield passed June 06, 2020. Our heartfelt condolences are extended to the Wingfield family, during their time of bereavement. Graveside Funeral services are planned for Saturday June 13, 2020 at 11:00am, Pearson City Cemetery, Pearson, Georgia.

Nicholas Wingfield Jr. was born December 21, 1935, in Terrell County Georgia to the late Nicholas Wingfield Sr. and Lilian Wingfield. He was their only child. He received his formal education in the Detroit Michigan and Southwest Georgia.

He retired from Shepard construction company in Atlanta Georgia after over 30 years of dedicated service.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a late age and was a loyal member of Evergreen holiness church of Pearson Georgia until death.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and 2 daughters.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his Loving wife, Bertha Wingfield of Douglas, Georgia. Five sons; Keith (Pearl) of Douglas, Georgia, Isaac (Patsy) of Albany Georgia, Tony ( Tracy) of Willacoochee Georgia, Eddie ( Sally) or Oxford, Georgia, Harold (Bella) of Dallas Texas, and two daughter Cheryl (Curtis) of Dallas Texas, Jennifer (Julius) of Moultrie Georgia. He was loved and will be remembered by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
