Rebecca Pace affectionately known as “Teenie” passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016. Born to the Late Anderson and Flora Styles on January 23, 1944 in Coffee County, Georgia.
At an early age she received Christ and became a member of Vickers Temple House of Prayer HOGSIC under the leadership of the late Pastor Julius Ingram where she served under Elder James Ingram and the late Presiding Officer Elder John H. Gloster and now Pastor Clara Graham. She served faithfully for 40 years until her demise. She has served on various committees and worked in different offices Church Mother, Licensed Minister, Choir president, Sunday school Superintendent, Program Coordinator, and Pastor Aide Coordinator.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Minister Willie James Pace on February 13, 1978, to this union three children were born.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Flora Styles, Beulah Styles, and one son, James Jeremy Pace. She was the youngest of five siblings Esther Lee Beacham, Avdor Styles Jr., Johnny Frank Styles, Theodise Vickers, and Jesse Vickers who also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Minister Willie James Pace; Two daughters: Angel Pace and Tiffany Pace; Four stepchildren: Vincent James McElhaney, Lashell Pace, LaShonda Pace and Angela Parker; Sisters: Clara O’Shell, Julia Smith, and Bertha Williams of Miami, FL and Annie Ruth Stewart of Raleigh, NC; Brother in law, Mansfield ( Louvenia) Pace. Sisters-in-law: Bobbie Jean Pace, Doretha Johnson, Bernestine (Aldoshia) McDuffie, Rena (Ronnie) Graves, and Wadeleen Davis; Seven God-Children: Sidney, Stephen, Stephanie, Sharon, Jacob, and Joshua. A special friend, Jean Gooden. And host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
