Robert Dopson Pace was born in Jacksonville, Georgia on January 8, 1934 son of the late Paul and Ledell Pace of Telfair County. Robert was married to the late Nellie Mae Patterson Pace. Robert did not let life or ailments slow him down. A very special friend for twenty-one years, Ernestine Hudson Pace. He was the father for eleven children, two preceded him in death. Herbert Jerome Pace and Robert Paul Pace and a sister Ollie Mae Tukes. Surviving children, Corey Smith of Jacksonville, GA; Carolyn (Hudson) Stanton, Thelma (Bobby) Williams all of Jacksonville, FL; Patricia Pace of Jacksonville, GA; Melissa (Kenneth) Goings of Vidalia, GA; One son Anthony (Anita) Pace of Jacksonville, GA; Valena (Alvin) Butler of Albany, GA; Marlo (James) Odums of Nicholls, GA; One brother, Edward Pace of Clearmont, FL; One sister, Mary Bonner of Nicholls, GA; A special great-grandchild Bosnia, Twenty- four grand children, twenty- nine great grand children; Two special great nieces Nancy Wesley , Bernice (Roosevelt) Stewart of Jacksonville, GA; Special cousin, Clifford Pace, Betty Carson, Vera Johnson, Mary Pace, Lamar and Patrice Daniel, Earlena Graham, and Gary Lowe.
