Shirley Jean Hillard was born July, 5, 1958 in Broxton, Georgia to Irene Hillard and the late Owen Hillard.
She attended Broxton Mary Hayes School in Broxton, Georgia. Mrs. Shirley’s Christian fellowship was at Overcomers Tabernacle under the leadership of Apostle Billy Clay.
Early Friday morning, March 27, 2015 while hospitalized at Coffee Regional Medical – Douglas, Georgia, the Lord God called her from pain and labor to reward. Her soul took flight and at this moment she is at rest, but her memory will forever live in the hearts and minds of all of us who knew her. Shirley was preceded in death by her father Owen Hillard.
She leaves to mourn in her passing: Husband, Dan Pearson of Douglas, GA; Two children, Sammy (Wanda) Leggett, Jr. and Crystal (Justin) Dennis, both of Douglas, GA; A loving mother, Irene Hillard of Broxton, GA; Five sisters, Lois (Elder Larry) Brown of Columbia, GA; Oneida (Pastor Larry) McGill of Broxton, GA; Willie Rene (Late Henry) Daniels, Ida (Bernard) Crawford of Germany, and Iline Hillard all of Douglas, GA; Two brothers, Terry (Evelyn) Chambers of Jacksonville, FL; Apostle Isaiah (Barbara) Hillard of Douglas, GA; Sixteen grandchildren; Aunts: Geraldine Jordan of Columbus, GA; Betty Brown, May Francis and Emily Lee all of Bernel, FL; Mildred Cannon, and Christine Hillard of Jacksonville, FL; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
