Mr. Wilbert Collins Sr. was born May 19, 1948 to Lillie Pearl Collins and the late J.W. Collins. He was the second child born.
Wilbert graduated from High School in 1966. He worked for the Prescription Shop Pharmacy for many years before he retired.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his father J.W. Collins; son Wilbert Collins, Jr.; and two sisters, Celia Dennard and Bonell Walker.
He was baptized at an early age. Later in life he became a member of Church of God by Faith in Abbeville, Georgia. Where he served as Chairman of Deacons and Sunday School teacher.
Wilbert leaves to cherish his memory: A loving wife Cynthia Collins of Eastman, GA; One child; Sabrina Studstill; His mother Pearl Collins of McRae, GA; Mother-in-law, Annie Mae Freeman of Rochelle, GA; Four grandchildren. Four sisters, Mary Collins, Minnie (David) Williams, Pearl (Eddie) Hall, and Frances Collins. Two brothers: Rev. Joe (Angela) Collins, and Kevin Collins. Two Brothers-in-law, Frank (Lola) Freeman of Pitts, GA and Anthony Freeman of Rochelle, GA; One sister-in-law, Annie Evelyn Freeman of Rochelle GA; One devoted friend Dexter McRae. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
